Doctor Who Scripts Leaked Online - BBC Ask Fans Not To Spoil Season 8

Seemingly, the Doctor Who production has developed itself some cracks and, it's more than time energy that is flowing from them... Allons-y!

BBC Worldwide has today issued a statement after five scripts from the upcoming series of Doctor Who were leaked online.

It is believed that the leak occured after scripts were sent to BBC Worldwide's newly opened Latin America headquaters in Miami for translation. The first episode, the feature length 'Deep Breath' is going to be simulcast globally on Saturday August 23, so that, along with the 4 other scripts leaked, were sent for translation as they have to be prepared in advance.

The BBC Worldwide statement reads as follow:

"BBC worldwide is currently investigating a security issue around Doctor Who Series 8 where unfinished material has inadvertently been made public. We deeply regret this and apologise to all the show's fans, the BBC and the cast and crew who have worked tirelessly making the series."

"We would like to make a plea to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen when it launches. We know only too well that Doctor Who fans are the best in the world and we thank them for their help with this and their continued loyalty."

This is far from the first time one of these little security snafus have happened, previous times fans have received little rewards for their dedication however, you have to wonder, how many more time will people be willing to clean up Moffat and the BBC's mess?

Thanks for stopping by, I do hope you enjoyed yourself.
